Andre Lajevardi (he/him) is a Middle Eastern–Hispanic actor born and raised in the Bay Area, California. He is currently in his final year at Penn State University, where he is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre (expected Spring 2026).

At school, Andre has appeared in numerous Penn State Centre Stage productions. During his sophomore year, he joined the companies of Great Comet as a Swing (dir/chor. Christine O’Grady) and Urinetown as Robby the Stockfish (chor. Natalie Malotke). At PSCS, he most recently played Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd and Toynbee/TV Announcer in How to Succeed…, directed by MJ National Tour’s Resident Director, Christopher Campbell. For his final PSCS production, he will appear in Godspell (Judas/Dance Captain). During his senior year, Andre will also be working on Centralia, a new musical conceived by Adam Chanler-Berat and Julian Hornik.

Over Summer breaks, Andre has performed regionally across the country. Last summer, he worked at Interlakes Summer Theatre, appearing as Race in Newsies (dir. Michael Stoddard) and in the Original Revival Production of Chicago (Bailiff/Clerk), directed by Broadway’s Gustavo Wons. This past summer, he performed in Idaho at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre, joining the ensembles of Hello, Dolly! (directed by Roger Welsh) and Anastasia (directed by Antoinette DiPietropolo).

Outside of school, Andre is a self-proclaimed gym geek. If you ever need to find him, you can consult the local weight room. He’s also confident in just about any sport, so if you think you would beat him, please contact him. In addition, Andre is also a huge EDM fan, so make sure to also ask him about that when you see him!
